Ways to donate
Thank you for choosing to help Leukaemia CARE
To make a one off donation using a secure payment server please visit our Just Giving site
Or there are many other ways to donate, why not consider:
Regular Giving
By setting aside a small amount of money to go to Leukaemia CARE by Standing Order you will be helping the charity to plan ahead and continue to offer much needed care and support to anyone affected by blood cancer.
Or you can make monthly donation by clicking on the Just Giving button below. It's a simple and secure way to make your donation and Just Giving accepts all major credit/debit cards. It will automatically add 28% in Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, Leukaemia CARE can reclaim the tax and add an extra 28% to your donation, at no extra cost to you! On your behalf, we simply claim back the tax from the Inland Revenue – all you have to do is remember to select the Gift Aid option.
Payroll Giving or Tax Free Giving
Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn or GAYE) is a tax-free way of giving monthly to Leukaemia CARE, making it one of the most efficient ways of supporting us.
Employees - Please enquire with your HR department in order to set this up.
Payroll - For more information and advice about this scheme please contact KKL info@kkl.org.uk quoting Leukaemia CARE.
Charities benefit from payroll giving because receiving regular donations means that they can make financial plans for their long-term future – knowing they can rely on the regular gifts of their payroll donors.
Employees can give as much or as little as they like, and because the donation is taken from their pay before tax, it actually costs them less.
| Your employee's donation -what the charity gets | The cost to an employee (22% tax payer) | The cost to an employee (40% tax payer) |
| £5.00 | £3.90 | £3.00 |
| £10.00 | £7.80 | £6.00 |
| £20.00 | £15.60 | £12.00 |
| £50.00 | £39.00 | £30.00 |
Providing that your employer offers Payroll Giving it could not be simpler. You complete a form which is usually obtained from your Payroll Department or Personnel. Alternatively for more information please contact Tony Gavin on 01905 755977 or email tony.gavin@leukaemiacare.org.uk.
