Welcome to Team Bertie!
Leukaemia CARE is a small national cancer charity that prides itself on its fundraising events. We have a big welcoming team of runners, walkers and adrenalin seekers.
Bertie Bloodcell
Bertie Bloodcell is Leukaemia CARE’s fab fundraising mascot and he generally turns up to any event that a runner is brave enough to run in him in.
If you are interested in completing the BUPA Great North Run, Flora London Marathon or any other event wearing Bertie you can contact us here.
When wearing Bertie there is an extra element of preparation required; you’ll also have to prepare yourself for a slower run than normal. However it is a HUGE achievement and a lot of fun – you’ll go down in the Bertie Annals and you’ll help to raise awareness of the disease as well as fundraise for the charity.
