Joining as an ASSET supporter costs less than it can to advertise in a local newspaper and subscribers will receive an impressive package. Benefits comprise a regular newsletter updating them on what their support has helped the charity achieve, networking opportunities, a boost to the company’s CSR profile, and a long term advertising presence on the newly launched Fundraising website.

What makes this relationship an ASSET to businesses? Joining ASSET gives small or medium sized businesses an opportunity to network with fellow corporate supporters of Leukaemia CARE; the package also includes electronic news updates so that employees can track the success of their investment, a certificate to display in any reception area as well as an acknowledgment in the charity’s Annual Review and corporate literature. That’s significant exposure, for very little investment.
To join ASSET businesses will simply be asked to donate £900 per year for three years. An additional payment of £100 secures the hyperlinked web advert.

In addition, if your company is VAT registered you should be able to claim back some of the VAT paid. The tax relief on this agreement is dependent on your company’s current level of corporation tax, which will be between 19-30%. Therefore your payment of £1000 could cost as little as £700.
